IPMS NSW is an incorporated organisation and has a formal constitution. The management of the Society is handled by an elected committee, who meet monthly to discuss business related to the functioning of the society.

The Annual General Meeting and Election of Office Bearers is held at the commencement of the normal December meeting. Office bearers present their reports, a new committee is elected and members have the opportunity to raise issues relevant to the running of the Society.
